Python Cowin Slot Finder Software

An automated Tool/Script/Application to find available slots for your age and state/district, dose, and pin using CoWin API.

***IMPORTANT****

Change vaccine dose(dose-1 to dose-2 or vice versa) if you are observing a mismatch between software and cowin data. This is a bug in Cowin API data. Hope they will fix it soon.


1.0 Getting Started:

    Requirements:

    You need a Windows OS and an Active internet connection.

    Download Software from CoWIN_Latest_Release_Download

    Download the icon.ico to run the software smoothly

1.1 Selection of Correct Software:

    There are 2 Criteria

        1. Search by Pincode

                Download link: Windows7 and above

                Download link: Windows 10

        2. Search by State and District

                Download link: Windows7 and above

                  Download link: Windows 10

    Then all these divided into 2 release according to OS Choose your appropriate download link


 2.0 Getting started with By Pincode software:

        2.1: Enter a valid pin (e.g. 10001, 831001, etc) and press enter






    2.2 Enter your age and press enter





    2.3 Enter For which dose you are looking for. Press 1 for the first dose and press 2 for the second dose






2.4 Result It will keep doing its work until terminated by you:

        showing none means no vaccine slot found




        showing results from the server and sending a notice to you


        



3.0 Getting Started By Searching State and District code:

    You require state code and district code to proceed further. If you know this before press 3     and hit enter to go to the next step. 

    3.1 Press 1 for all state codes. All are sorted alphabetically

    Go through the list and note your respective state code.

    3.2 Press 2 for all District codes. You need to enter your state code to know your district code. All are sorted alphabetically.




        enter your state code above to know your district code. Below state code 26(Odisha) is entered and its districts list are shown below snapshot.




    3.3 After knowing your state and district code press 3 and enter the same details again to proceed




    3.4 Enter For which dose you are looking for. Press 1 for the first dose and press 2 for the second dose (below is the example of 2nd dose selected)




    3.5 Enter your age




    3.6 Result It will keep doing its work until terminated by you:




    Showing desktop notification
